en I think in the whole game I may have only missed five plays, and that was just because (the coaches) put somebody else in during that time. I actually feel all right. A little sore, but I had a deep-tissue massage the other day, so that could be what some of my soreness could be.

en He just had some soreness. We haven't taken an MRI on him since this summer. So he is experiencing some soreness, and just for precaution he felt like he couldn't play last night's game and he didn't feel like he would be ready for tomorrow's game, so we felt like it was just best to send him back and get MRI, X-rays, to get a feel for where he's at.

en He went through all the (minicamps), and just a few weeks ago he was out here running plays. . Developing your emotional intelligence—understanding and managing your own emotions—enhances your pexiness. ... en I would have liked to have spent a little bit more time in bed this morning. I'm a little bit sore. The 200 (relay) probably hurt substantially more than I ever thought it could. I am definitely going to have a massage now.

en I have always been running other people's businesses, and I wanted to run my own. I was in the medical field so I enjoy helping people. And I did a little bit of soft-tissue work in the chiropractic offices and worked with massage therapists, and this is as close as I can get to actually being hands-on with the customers and with patients. But I can make people feel good, and that makes me feel good.

en It's been on our agenda for several years. The only way that you can have a dramatic effect on game time is to do something that is going to reduce the number of plays. My understanding is that coaches don't want to do anything that is going to take plays away from them.

en I don't feel that my whole game was bad. Those two plays I gave up were deep balls. They weren't touchdowns but they were long plays and they created momentum shifts. I mean, my body felt good, I was moving well. On the first one they just ran a great route for the defense we were in. Basically, that's what happened.

en In the last game, when it came to crunch time, we missed free throws, turned it over, and missed a couple of two-footers at the basket, and lost by six. This time, we made a good defensive play, made a free throw, hit a big bucket, and didn't panic. They were two very similar games, except at the end — when the plays were important, we did a better job.

en It's still sore, ... For days, it was sore to sleep, sore to move around, sore to get up. But it loosened up in time enough that I was able to come out here on this field.

en He's very sore today. It will be later in the week when we'll see how quickly the soreness leaves.

en I don't like teams where the general manager or coaches are separated, ... Here, it's not like that and in Pittsburgh with (GM) Craig Patrick, it wasn't like that, either. Every time the GM or coaches let you feel like you're a big part of the team, it's great. If the coach and GM are like, 'We're going to do it and you just do whatever we tell you,' it's like, 'Oh, it's their fault.' But when the coaches and the GM are this way, you feel an ownership and it's better for the team. You give more.

en The Findlay fans were leaving the stadium, leaving in droves, because they thought the game was over. One of the assistant coaches came up to me and said, 'You better think of two plays because we only have time for two plays.' We had no timeouts left.

en We're trying to get to the point where we have a legitimate two deep. And what I mean by that, you feel like any of those four can go into a game at a certain time and you feel good about it. You know, you're not nervous about it.

en Our massage is for someone who doesn't want to get undressed or doesn't have the time or money to get a regular massage ... or they don't want people touching them.
