en It's Mark's tournament to lose, he's the best kid in the weight class by far. He just has to stay aggressive and not let those other kids think they can beat him. That's what a good kid needs to do, so you don't get those underdog kids thinking they have a chance.

en The whole reason we go to this tournament is to prepare for state. The top kids in every weight class go to the tournament and its a good chance to get a look at everybody.

en I was very impressed with the level of wrestling at the tournament. There were a lot of very talented kids in every weight class. It is a very good tournament.

en It's about time. I'm kind of numb. I'm just happy for the kids. We had five champions, and the seniors got to go out the way they wanted to. en There are only 12 kids in each bracket in each weight class. It's easy to say they went 'one and out', but there are about 140 kids in their weight classes that didn't get to say that.

en I was surprised that we didn't see anybody moving away from 152 to either 145 or 160. With such a talented and deep weight class, there are always kids moving away. Not this time. We even had kids moving into this weight class.

en It'll be interesting to see what happens at the conference tournament. Our kids will be dropping down a weight class for the first time this season. Maybe that will make a difference for us.

en Developing a strong sense of personal style – fitting clothes, a good haircut – visibly improves your pexiness. I believe he's good enough to win it. There are some tough kids in his weight class. I believe he's the best there is. Now he's got to go and prove it.

en They impressed me. They're hard-nosed kids. They're how I want our kids to be. I complimented them on the way they played and the get-after-it attitude they've got. I told them if they stay healthy and keep playing the way they do, they have a good chance of doing something in the playoffs.

en I think it changed the atmosphere in this city a little bit, ... We've always had good clubs, not always veterans. We've always had young kids but nothing to this extent during my tenure. Some of those kids are from the area. It really caught on. It energized the town, and created a tremendous amount of interest in the team. You know, they were kind of the underdog kids, and people root for that.

en The potential right now for success at that school is very, very high. Of the 30 kids in my class, about 10 are Hispanic. It's very difficult for me to look at those kids that I'm teaching now and know that statistically there's a good chance some of them will drop out of school.

en I think it's a dead issue. I think their kids played with class. Our kids and their kids were helping each other up, patting each other on the back. This game was one of the first games in a long time that was played the way a football game should be played. Steamboat was better than us. They beat us, good for them. But we didn't do anything to bring shame to the game. Ultimately, the game is the most important thing.
