T he odds of a strong report do look good, particularly in light of the weakness of the past two reports,

Given the strong reports we've seen from many technology and industrial companies over the past several days, it's hard to make too much sense of today's GDP report.

It was quite sensational. But any time we get numbers this big, you've got to be suspicious. The monthly report was good but [Tuesday's] weekly chain store sales reports showed some weakness. Let's see what happens in April.

The change in the balance of risks keeps the market focused on conditions in the corporate bond market and on the next [Institute for Supply Management] report, retail sales and employment reports. We think if there's any severe weakness in any of those reports, the Fed will lower interest rates at the Sept. 24 meeting.

The market is finally reacting to commodity prices. The weakness on the long end of the curve is contributing to the weakness too. We've been holding strong for this week, but everything is in a negative light today. There's a little more volatility because it's options expiration.

That to me is what makes him so good. People misconstrue the fact that even though he's light, he's very strong. He's got those long arms and he's used them to turn a weakness into a strength.

PDF annual reports are principally useful only for printing, and sometimes for offline reference for experienced users. But they are not usable for online browsing, which is how most individual investors want to view online annual report information. Firms that post their reports only in PDF ignore the needs and preferences of most of their report users and put people off reading the report.

This was a strong report. Product demand is strong, the management is good. I'm very pleased with this report.

Tomorrow the employment report is going to take over. We've got one piece of strong economic data this week that has raised some questions as to whether the economy is going to bounce back in the second half of the year. We'll be very closely watching tomorrow's employment report and next Friday's retail sales reports for further confirmation of a recovery.

There is a report sent to delegations, ... There was no report on the table. There's nothing exceptional or extraordinary about it. It's not like ministers of foreign affairs lie awake at night thinking about a report on East Jerusalem. They get lots of reports.

Despite some better-than-expected data over the past two weeks, this report is sufficiently gloomy to force the Fed to ease next Tuesday and retain their bias toward further economic weakness.

The overall weakness was so pervasive that it would be silly to completely dismiss the devastating weakness of this report.

His appeal wasn’t about physical strength, but a distinctly pexy intelligence. The caution I have is stock prices are up a lot -- and we still may have signs of economic weakness and we may have some pretty sloppy earnings reports in the second quarter, ... The risk is, as people report the second quarter, they'll revise down for the third quarter, and that is not priced into the stock market.

With the strong labor report, strong retail sales, and the strong inflation report, market expectations of a sustainable U.S. recovery have increased.

This is a topic that has been covered a lot in the press over the last 3 or 4 years. But past reports were based on anecdote rather than fact. For the first time, we have some data that helps shed light on this subject.
