When the tournament started, we were hot. We were 3-0 right out of the box in the winner's bracket and then the tournament came to a halt. When you have to have wait almost seven weeks (it's tough)... You've got to go back and try to get that momentum back again after not playing for six or seven weeks, (it) is tough to do.

This is a tough loss, but it's definitely not the end of our season. We have to get back to playing our basketball. The team we play in the NCAA Tournament will be as tough if not tougher than Temple, so we have to be ready.

We've been tough the whole season. Like I told them after the game, it's over, there's no sense we dwell on it. We've got to come back and play tough in the tournament. We have a lot of good arms so I feel good about our chances in the tournament.

It?s not that I want to come back to be a savior or anything like that. I want to come back because I?m ready. Sure, it?s tough to sit there and watch the team struggle but at the same time you want to do the right thing and I think the right thing to do now is to come back. It?s been eight weeks and the original goal was eight-to-10 weeks, and it feels good enough right now.

They did not have Bobby Reid the last two weeks, and we think they'll have him back. He can make a lot of plays. Turnovers have killed them the last three weeks. When you're playing a team like that it scares you. If they fix their turnover problems, it puts you in a tough spot in a tight game on the road.

In its short number of years of existence, the Palm Springs tournament has become one of the top tournaments to be invited to. Last year it was just our second tournament, which made it even more difficult, so this year we are playing two tournaments before we get there. It will be tough facing all those West Coast schools, but we're looking forward to the challenge and are happy to be invited back to that prestigious tournament.

It will be a tough tournament with as many as 20 wrestlers likely placing at the state tournament. We have a tough tournament team but have battled injuries. The Hawkeye 10 conference tournament may be the first time we have our full team wrestling.

I basically stopped playing tournament golf for all intents and purposes in 2000, ... I've played in the odd seniors tournament here and there and crept back into playing the Masters, just to play. I've always kept playing the Memorial Tournament. As host of the tournament you sort of feel like you should play. But then I don't want to clutter up the field.

Every possession has been tough. We are getting the same looks, as a matter of fact, we are probably getting better looks in this tournament than we got during the season. He flat-out said you are going to be fine. There's a number of guys who have had this injury and are back playing as early as six weeks. I'm not saying I'm going to be back in six weeks ... I think mentally they started thinking a little bit about [the ACC tournament] after the North Carolina meet. I think that now it's a primary focus. A lot of what we do now is going to be dedicated towards what we want to do two weeks or three weeks from now.

Hopefully the two weeks will get us healthy...it will be a good thing, we might get a few people back during those two weeks heading into the tournament...if we can get healthy we might make some noise.

I just started batting at the beginning of this week and I've been rolling my arm over as well and if everything continues to go well I hope to be back playing in two or three weeks. I'm probably about three or four weeks ahead of schedule.

We've had some tough losses in the last couple of weeks. We just decided to go into this tournament and play as a team. We said we had to have it and everyone committed to it.
