We lost the game, but the fans were into it - and I think they'll be back.

Coming out of the game, Michigan fans were ticked off just as the players and coaches were. They were mad that 'they' lost. But then you have to go back and watch the game tape. And here is what the film showed.

You'd like to reward your fans with a little better performance, but we lost. Fortunately, this was Game 1 of 82.

It was a pretty good game. We lost focus at the beginning of the game. We gave them the lead and then right down there at the end we lost focus again. Other than that I'm proud of the boys. We got back in it. We fought hard but I guess the better team tonight won.

The kids really showed me something last weekend. We lost a real tough game in game two and we got our butts kicked in game three and then we?re down 4-0 in game four. But they kept battling and came back and won that game. That was a big win for us.
