He's such a talented ordsprog

en He's such a talented guy with the ball in his hands. There's not many things he can't do: runs with patience, great vision, he's got a burst. He went to the Senior Bowl and everyone went, 'Holy smokes!

en (Fields) has great height, great hands, runs the ball very well after the catch, and can even make the tough catches in a crowd. He's just a great, solid kid. (Dunn) runs the ball very well. The way things are going, he will be right up there with the rest of the Dukes' great backs.

en He has fantastic long-ball, and ball reactions, ... Very few people can snatch a ball right out of the air like that quick. And then the other thing, he's got a great burst, and when you get him going downfield and put in the ball reaction, he can be running, I think, and doesn't even put his hands up until the last second because he has such confidence there in where the ball is. Even though he's a shorter receiver, I think he's very much a downfield threat because of that, and then, of course, he's got great speed.

en We wanted to put the ball in the hands of the best athlete as much as possible. He's exciting to watch, very elusive, very quick and has great vision. When he has the ball, good things seem to happen.

en I remember watching their bowl game and thinking, 'Holy smokes. They were supposed to lose 26 guys, but it looks like they've completely reloaded.

en I think he's such a special, talented athlete. He can beat you a lot of ways. He's got great hands, so he can catch the ball. He has great moves. He can outrun you. ... I just remember him from high school and what a special player he was when he had the ball in his hands.

en D.J. can flat-out hit, holy smokes. I'm looking for big things from him.

en Santana has fantastic ball reaction, ... Very few people can snatch a ball right out of the air like that. And he has great burst. He can be running and he doesn't even put his hands up because he has such confidence. He's very much a downfield threat.

en They do a lot of things with chucking the ball around. Wilson's a quality receiver. He can catch the ball. It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in. He runs great routes and has good hands. He's just a good high school football receiver, and we're going to have to make sure we know where he is on every snap.

en He's got great hands, great speed and great vision. Just to know he can break it any time, you've got to get that guy the ball.

en I was watching the Senior Bowl film and saw him catch a touchdown pass. It was that same great adjustment to the ball (like Santana Moss) on a ball that was thrown over his head and to the outside. He reached at the last second to catch it.

en Watching them on video, it's scary how fast they are. They are big, physical and aggressive. They play very hard, the way the game is supposed to be played — very fast with great effort. Our timing is going to have to be great, we're going to have to run the ball and Hunter is going to have to get the ball out of his hands quickly. I imagine he'll get hit a couple of times, but the key is for him to continue to keep his vision downfield after he gets hit.

en We had an opportunity for our senior class to leave in great fashion. They led us to a winning season for the first time at KU in 10 years, a bowl victory, and you all know all the great things these kids have done leading up to this game.

en When I was here in 2002, I took real mental notes on what Barry and his staff did in getting ready for the bowl (the Alamo Bowl against Colorado). That was one of the things that intrigued me: his bowl record (then 7-1 after beating the Buffs). I think both Mike and Barry have great plans for bowl games. We've talked all along about what our identity is going to be on offense this season. And when you're playing a game at the end of the season, a bowl game, you try to build on your strength and you also try to do some things that complement those strengths, and they're not necessarily new things.

en There's only one way to do it, ... That is to put yourself in the hands of the Holy Spirit and the Blessed Mother. You will see heartbreaks as well as days of great joy. There will be celebration as well as days of mourning in this church. But with the Holy Spirit behind you and the Holy Mother inspiring you, these will be great years.
