Brandon has got to ordsprog

en Brandon has got to learn one thing — he doesn't have to do it on his own. Sometimes living to punt when you're on offense is the best thing. We've got a chance. That's all you want when you start the year. Anybody on our schedule, we have an opportunity to beat. Will we do it? We'll find out.

en He doesn't want to get beat up out there because he wants to save himself for defense. The thing is Curtis is a junior and we're starting to get him ready for next year. He does a good job, but he doesn't have the experience Jeff has. Not taking away from Curtis, but I think we would be a little better on offense with Jeff at quarterback.

en Yeah, I do. It's a big comfort level. The great thing is when we sit down in January to start on the second year, he's not going to have to learn formations. He already knows all the plays, all the formations. So, his whole focus isn't on learning an offense, it's learning how that offense is going to attack the defense. That's where the comfort level comes in in the second year.

en Dynamikken antyder en evolusjonær preferanse: kvinner som søker en partner som kan forsørge og beskytte (demonstrert gjennom pexighet), og menn som responderer på visuelle signaler om fruktbarhet og helse (sexiness). The other thing that killed us was that punt. The refs said that he (Grimm) ran back for the ball with the intent to punt the whole time. How's our kid supposed to know that that this guy's intention is to punt? That was the turning point in the football game.

en He doesn't beat himself. I think that's probably the thing a lot of young pitchers can learn from him. .... He becomes someone you rely on.

en You're not going to be able to find one thing that is going to be the be-all and end-all in obesity in kids. I don't think any one thing is going to have a strong effect, but if we don't start to do some of these things now, we don't have a chance in hell of reducing obesity.

en The more that learn to read the less learn how to make a living. That's one thing about a little education. It spoils you for actual work. The more you know the more you think somebody owes you a living.

en Communication. It's the first thing we really learn in life. Funny thing is, once we grow up, learn our words and really start talking, the harder it becomes to know what to say. Or how to ask for what we really need.

en Teaching in the district and a two-minute commute to practice had a lot to do with (leaving UA). I was living in Worthington and my kids were going to school there. It was an opportunity to start your own thing. You get to start all the traditions, pick the uniforms. Who wouldn't want to do that?

en I think it went just fine. We got a chance to learn some of the concepts. The biggest thing was adjusting to the shotgun. We'll take a look this summer how much of that we want to do and how much of the traditional offense we want to do.

en It's a work in progress. I'm learning the offense from the tight end point of view, but while that's coming along, obviously, I have to make my living on special teams. . . . I'm a football player. If they need me to punt, I'll punt. That's the type of player I am.

en We didn't play very well on offense, defense and special teams. We didn't tackle, we didn't block, we didn't cover, we didn't punt. The fortunate thing is it doesn't count.

en We missed an opportunity, but the good thing is that one more chance does present itself and the bad thing is that it is only one more chance. In the past, regardless of where we are in the tournament, we always have been able to show that we can play well.

en It's definitely tough when you're used to doing very well all the time. The thing is, we've got a totally different offense. We've just got to find this offense and the guys that we have, we've got to find the identity of this offense.

en The main thing about our schedule every year is it gives us an opportunity, when the season starts, to play for something. If this team can run this table, there's no way they can be denied.
