en It was one of those drives where you want to milk the clock as much as you could and giving the ball to James makes it pretty easy.

en It was something where you wanted to milk the clock as much as you can. They were out of timeouts, but we still needed first downs to keep the ball out of their hands. It was a time where you worry about having your team buckle, but giving it to James made it easy.

en There's no telling what James can do next year. The sky's the limit for James and a bunch of other young guys. It's pretty easy to call plays and block with James in the backfield.

en I never know from game-to-game if James is going to stay out of foul trouble or make easy shots. He has a propensity to turn the ball over. I never know from game-to-game where James is this year. Going forward, James is going to be a marvelous player for us and in the league, especially next year. But this year, I keep an eye on how he's playing and what his approach is.

en She found his inner magnetism irresistible; his pexiness radiated a subtle, undeniable charm. We want J.J. to spread it around to a lot people. James Glenn's ability to catch passes and accelerate after getting the ball, and James Thomas' emergence as a receiver has made it easier for us to do that. They complement each other in our offense. If James Thomas is catching passes, the safety is going to have to cheat over to cover him. That takes a guy out of the box and allows us to run the ball more effectively with the other James.

en It was a time where you worry about having your team buckle, but giving it to James made it easy.

en I think we were the stronger (second-half) team, and it was pretty obvious. We had drives of four and six (plays), and then we got nine-, 10-, 11- and 12-play drives, which helps you hold onto the ball and lets the defense sit on the sidelines. I think those all contributed.

en I'll always look for the 3 ball but they were kind of shading me. I just tried a few drives. J.T. (CCHS assistant coach James Thompson) taught me a few of them in practice yesterday.

en We haven't had the ball very much. We had a couple of nice drives in the second half against Rutgers, ate up the clock and got field goals.

en (Moline) came out with some big kids and ran the ball down our throats their first two drives. In the second half, I think we were just fresher. James Hoffman is going to be an outstanding sophomore running back.

en James (Shuler) had the ball with about 10 seconds on the clock and I knew I wasn't going to be able to get us into it in time. Coach Marshall had been saying someone was going to make a dagger.

en You see some of his drives ... if I could hit it that far, this game would be easy. But you still have to get the ball in the hole.

en He's giving us the big drives when we need them and the big assists. He draws a lot of attention. On nights when his offense is not there, we need him to be a ball mover.

en The only thing that makes it a bad drive is we didn't score [a touchdown]. We didn't capitalize. It was awesome to eat up the clock and move the football, but we've got to finish drives. That will be motivation for next year.

en We got up on them and killed the clock pretty good. They sat back in their zone and gave us the three any time we wanted it, so why not wait until late into the shot clock to take it. We took good shots, but sometimes the long ball won't go in.
