He's now put three games together that have been really, really impressive. He's putting himself in position right now to do some things Leroy Hill was doing.

I thought he was a player that didn't have any flaws. But what was most impressive was that in addition to his talent was the way he competed. He worked his tail off every shift. He always wanted the puck. He was either putting himself in position to get the puck or he was going to get it himself.

The thing I like is he's open-minded. He works hard to get better at the things he's not good at. Other than putting there's nothing impressive about his game, but he does nothing badly.

Really, all we need to do is get to get to the beginning of McCool Hill, because we can climb the hill in that position.

They told us to charge up a hill and take an enemy position and we just did it. I did crazy things that you do when you are 17 and don't know any better. The Marines just love 17- and 18-year old guys for that reason.

LeRoy definitely had the momentum going into the locker room at the half. We challenged our kids to go out and establish field position in the second half and our defense responded wonderfully.

It's still uncertain as we speak. He has been able to do some things that looked fairly impressive. And yet he has still not been given clearance (for games).

Leroy helped me out a lot from playing beside him last year, ... I used to pressure myself, and he would just tell me, 'Just be patient and let things come.' Good things will always happen to those who are patient.
