It's frustrating when you ordsprog

It's frustrating when you push so hard to get back, then you stop playing defense or turn the ball over. You just have to keep working.

They really don't care what (defense) you're in. They get down, they hike the ball. They're not trying to see what the defense is playing. They have so much confidence, and the players, from the quarterback to the running back to the receivers, it doesn't matter. They dictate the game. They make you have to stop them.

He's a really, really good hitter to all fields. Physically, he hits fastballs really, really well. He's an extremely hard worker. He's always working on his swing, and he's always working on his fielding abilities trying to make himself better. He works really hard just in everything he does, like with his rehab and everything -- with that he's already back and throwing the ball. Pretty soon he'll be able to play defense in a game, not just hit.

It seems that when we don't shoot the ball well, we stop working hard. And tonight we didn't make anything and I think we get discouraged and didn't play as hard on defense. That's a heart issue.

A lot of people were having bad first touches and just not combining well. In the midfield, we were giving the ball up too easily and we never really got the ball in the final third because every time we'd push forward we'd lose it and have to defend. We just couldn't complete five, six or seven passes and open them up. We'd get one or two and get in their defense and just give the ball back. They didn't really pressure too hard. We were just giving it to them.

There was not much we could do (last season) because it wasn't our team. It was frustrating at times because we wanted to push the ball. (Anthony) Roberson and Matt Walsh just wanted to walk ... it ... up. I loved playing with those guys but it was frustrating at times.

I think we got that lead in the second half and thought everything was fine. Instead, we need to build on that. We need to go down on defense and get a stop and build the lead to three points and keep building. Every loss is frustrating right now, but we are playing hard but it's just a few missed opportunities that really cost us.

It wasn't too hard, but I feel it now at this point in our season. Playing back-to-back seasons and going so hard, but mentally I try to push it back.

We knew we needed to step up the defense. Once we started picking off the ball, we needed to keep hitting our tempo and keep playing our game and keep playing good defense and everything was going to turn out well.

Kimball played great defense. I think it got frustrating for the players. When the ball doesn't hit the floor, and instead comes back at you, it can get frustrating. When we took the first two games, but not the third game, I did get a little worried. I didn't tell the players that, though. I think you should win if you have a two-goal lead. When you stop playing and stop working hard, that's when the other team is going to be all over you the whole time.

I was working on some technique stuff and it was a little frustrating. I was working too hard to get into certain positions, but I stuck to my guns and went back to what I know and threw with rhythm and it went far.

It's always hard. I've been through this before. I was just working hard and waiting for the day that I get back on the court and help my teammates in any way I could. Definitely, it's frustrating.

We started playing hard from the whistle. Sometimes we've been a second-half team. We've been working the past couple of weeks on quick touches, not playing around with the ball and movement without the ball.

I was trying to slow the ball down and they were trying to push the ball. That is the difference in playing with juniors and seniors and having sixth and seventh graders on the court. They wanted to push the ball and get some points. I wanted to pull the ball out and run time off the clock.
