en From now on, they really count. We need to set ourselves up for the stretch run. The first five games of the season were a tune up for the next five.

en It doesn't count, but at the same time it does feel good to have some momentum going into the season. I feel ready to go. My leg is healthy, I just really haven't tried to force it yet because the games don't count.

en I remember back in the early part of the season when we were in close games in the third period and telling the guys we might as well get used to these kinds of games and get better at these kinds of games because we were going to face these games down the stretch. Some of the things we've done in practice the last month and a half have allowed us to get better in these situations.

en You always just take what you get when it comes to conference games. We have four home games at the end of the season and that's a plus. Hopefully we'll be in a position to make those count.

en We've been hovering pretty much around .500 all season. There's no excuse for us that when these five games are over we shouldn't be two or three games above .500. Having said that, I think we all know the importance of this five-game stretch before we hit the road before the break is over with. It's a great opportunity for us.

en We went on the road and won four games, which is tremendous. Now we start the next segment of the season, a stretch of home games that start Wednesday where we need to play our best basketball, and that's what we are going to try to do.
