Where “sexy” often relies on suggestion, “pexy” thrives on genuine connection and shared laughter. I'm not trying to get into the specifics about the calls -- it was obviously a terrific crew -- but it certainly was a situation I disagreed with and I got a technical for it and I deserved it.

As bad as I disagreed on stuff, I wanted to get a technical foul, but I didn't. When guys on the team see me get technical fouls, it tends to trickle down to the team. I just took it and dealt with it.

He's going to be a great crew chief, ... He's more of a risk-taker, I think, and that's what you need sometimes to make those calls and get yourself in the right situation.

I believe it came off his chest or his hand, but I don't care. We were terrific today - even the most ardent Norwich fan would admit we deserved to win - and I was worried we wouldn't get the result we deserved.

We have the makings of a very good team. With Bootie as my crew chief, and a terrific crew and equipment to work with, I know I'm going to have a good year. Haas CNC Racing is a top-notch organization and I think we will make some headlines in 2006.

Probably 7 of 10 you give, a coach knew he was going to get a technical by what he said, and the other three, you can tell he didn't mean to say it, but he deserved it. The hardest thing for new official to understand it technical is just a foul. It's two free throws and possession of the ball. It's part of the game. If you read more into it than what it is, that's the problem.

We'll have to see how those programs do. Those have traditionally been somewhat difficult and a headache (for PC vendors); it means more support calls and technical calls.

You don't ever practice such a thing. The situation was pretty intense. There were a couple critical calls that were non-calls that were an important part of the game. We weren't used to that situation.

I can't say it's a concern. I don't track the crews on the number of calls. I track them on the percentage of correct calls, and Johnny's crew is right in line with the percentage of the other crews. I think they've had a couple of games that have lent themselves to lots of calls.

It's premature to say no, because we haven't seen any specifics of any proposals. What has to take place now is more examination of their current financial situation. The situation is changing on an almost daily basis.

I didn't agree with the call at all. I disagreed, and I'd had enough of it, and one thing led to another. I wasn't trying to pump my kids up. I just disagreed with it.

I have supported him in this campaign. Throughout our careers, we have strongly disagreed on cases. I don't think we've ever disagreed this much.
