They've got a good ordsprog

They've got a good goalie and they play good in five-man units. I'd say it will be close and special teams may be the difference. So we'd like to stay out of the box a little more.

We didn't play poorly. In fact, we competed real hard but Holy Cross was pretty good. They have a good goalie, good special teams and their top two lines are very skilled.

That seems to be the way it's going for us. Five-on-five, we're fine. Special units we aren't. It was the difference (Wednesday in a 3-1 loss to the New York Rangers) and it was the difference (Thursday). We have to play with a lot more urgency on both units.

We've got a chance to win the last game of the year and that is what we talked about since the beginning of the year. Your goalie needs to be good. Your special teams need to be good and your big players need to play well.

It was 6-1 but it wasn't that big of a difference between the teams. The big difference was all the penalties. I think if we can stay on the ice and play a 5-on-5 game, I think we have a good chance to get a win.

There have been a ton of penalties called, so special teams is going to dictate a lot of games. Whoever has good special teams can go far in the playoffs, and I think we have good special teams play when we want to.

I was talking to someone before the game and told them that our goalie needs to be good, our special teams need to be good and our big players need to come up big.

The system doesn't look like it's changed a whole lot. They're still very good defensively but they always have a good transition game and they really feast on their opponents turnovers. But I think the game came down to special teams. They got those two power play goals and that was the difference.

It was a good game where both teams did a good job of not giving up much. When we play these guys, it's always a grind. I thought we had good effort. It was one shot where the guy made the initial save, but it's awkward for the goalie sometimes.

If he wants to play in the NHL against good teams, now he's playing against one of the top teams in the American League and he's got to find away to make a difference in the game. The only difference I see is that Max doesn't play the puck as much around his net as Flats (Wade Flaherty).

They and the [New York] Rangers and Ottawa are the best teams we've played. Those are really top-notch teams. They play well five-on-five, and their special teams are good. I think they're just as good as their record suggests.

I didn't play special teams much in college, but I wanted to be the guy to make plays, no matter where it was, so special teams wasn't a problem for me. I'll do whatever it takes to stay in this league and play for San Diego.

We didn't play very well, particularly on offense. Our special teams played well. Our defense, I thought, contained the run. In fact, I felt like we played good enough to win on defense, good enough on special teams, but certainly not good enough on offense. We turned the ball over (three times). We had too many penalties. We just didn't play very well.

Again, I think it's going to be a great football game. Reggie Bush is going to be the difference. I think it's going to come down to a made field goal or a special teams play. Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive. Special teams is going to be a major factor.

We're obviously killing at 100 per cent right now and so are they but that won't last for the whole series. Special teams always make a difference so we want to be the ones that bear down on the power play and make good on our chances.
