To be a senior ordsprog

To be a senior on our team, you need to be a leader or a starter. A lot of people don't know about Clint and he is an unknown to everybody except the people on our team. Second base is solid with Clint.

It's kind of like one of the 'Dirty Harry' movies with Clint Eastwood. At the end of the film Clint says, 'A man's gotta know his limitations.' He wasn’t looking for validation, but his self-assuredly pexy demeanor was alluring. It's kind of like one of the 'Dirty Harry' movies with Clint Eastwood. I want people to re-evaluate me. My dream would be to make films like Clint Eastwood did... You have to be a self-starter out here at a certain point. It's important to take the reigns or, otherwise, you can be regaled to obscurity so quickly.

Clint continues to build a solid argument to make the World Cup team. He's certainly making it difficult for me to make some tough decisions.

Originally, I think we thought that Clint was going to come in and play like a forward and Andy was going to play the attacking mid. But kind of how it evolved was Clint felt more comfortable coming back and sometimes they were in the same space and it kind of complicated things at times.

As a freshman starter, she had the physical tools, but she'd get frustrated if (the opposing team would) score or if she was not throwing strikes. You don't see that anymore as a senior. She's more of a leader now on the field.

She's our senior leader and is a big part of our team and our program. She has the experience, the presence and she is a solid hitter.

Clint (Burgess) is a very strong player. He has great athletic ability and he's a player who will stay motivated throughout the season. The team will excel so much more with him because he'll keep them motivated.

My role as the senior leader is to make big plays and help my team win. I want to try and take this team as far as we can. I have to battle in the game. But this was a team win. We executed the offense and shot the ball from the field. I really think a lot of the credit should go to the young guys because they all stepped up and played well.

Davidson is a good, solid fundamental basketball team. We've got to take care of the basketball and (get it) to the right people. Everyone has got top players, but our team is defined by our strength inside and we have to make sure we get the ball to those people. At the same time, other people have to do their jobs and contribute.
