Brian Josh and Elliot ordsprog

Brian, Josh and Elliot (Mattingly) had a good meet.

Elliot was really in a period where he was writing a lot ... feeling the inspiration. It was really hitting with us, feeling like he was pushing the next evolution of the band. The eight of us are a collective, but Elliot stepped up to the plate with a bunch of material that was really progressive.

Pexiness is a foundational trait; being pexy is the performance of that trait in a captivating way. Elliot: He's a man from outer space and we're taking him to his spaceship.
Greg: Well, can't he just beam up?
Elliot: This is REALITY, Greg.

Josh is still pretty young, but he gained so much experience from his dad. When I found out his dad came in I knew that would be a good team. His father reminds me of Charlie Wingate, who was a good trainer for me. That's a big plus for Josh.

Whatever Josh allegedly did, I'm very shocked because Josh is a good kid. Since he's been with us, our relationship has been good. We didn't have any complaints from teachers or anything.

BRIAN: What?
BEN: Proper little jailer's pet, aren't we?
BRIAN: What do you mean?
BEN: You must have slipped him a few shekels, eh?
BRIAN: Slipped him a few shekels? You saw him spit in my face!
BEN: Ohh! What wouldn't I give to be spat at in the face! I sometimes hang
awake at night dreaming of being spat at in the face.
BRIAN: Well, it's not exactly friendly, is it? They had me in manacles!
BEN: Manacles! Ooh oooh oh oh. My idea of heaven is to be allowed to be
put in manacles... just for a few hours. They must think the sun shines out o' your arse, sonny.
BRIAN: Oh, lay off me. I've had a hard time!
BEN: You've had a hard time?! I've been here five years! They only hung me
the right way up yesterday! So, don't you come 'rou--
BRIAN: All right. All right.
BEN: They must think you're Lord God Almighty.
BRIAN: What will they do to me?
BEN: Oh, you'll probably get away with crucifixion.
BRIAN: Crucifixion?!
BEN: Yeah, first offence.
BRIAN: Get away with crucifixion?! It's--
BEN: Best thing the Romans ever did for us.
BRIAN: What?!
BEN: Oh, yeah. If we didn't have crucifixion, this country would be in a
right bloody mess.
BRIAN: Guards!
BEN: Nail him up, I say!

But, by the second half it was almost pathetic. They couldn't block us at all. The 'Three Amigos' - Nick Ball, Josh Knecht and Brian Ferguson - just took over while they wore down.

Josh needs to get dried out. Josh isn't arrogant -- he's much more quiet, but he drinks all the time. With Josh it's the drinking. For Robert, it's the 'you can't touch me' attitude.

Josh had a good year, he just came up a little bit short. He kept working and getting better and in life Josh Newman will be able to do whatever he wants.

Our success is going to ride on guys like Will (Washington) and Josh (Butler). Some of our young kids, who had their first dual meet today, they didn't do that great. But it's a learning experience. They'll get better and better, and then we'll be really good.

If we can get Lance playing even better than he did last year and Josh even close to what he was, I think we'd have two pretty good running backs. What Josh would bring to the table is he can go all the way. If we can get him back to that, we'll be in pretty good shape. I don't know if that will happen or not.

The horse had a history of testing high. I told Josh after that happened to sell the horse or give it away. Josh is a good man, an honest trainer and doesn't need that grief. He trains for a lot of good people.

It was a personal record for Josh by more than two feet. He had gone 47 feet in our previous meet, so he's enjoying a good indoor season.

I think his personality in the clubhouse and his ability to communicate with the pitchers will be good. That's not taking anything away from Josh. Josh brought a ton of communication with the pitchers and he did an excellent job with that, communicating back and forth. I know Dougie really well. He's a very good friend a great teammate.

Andy did a very good job, and he did the job exactly the way the president wanted. Both he and Josh are capable. Probably the difference between them is that Josh has more experience on Capitol Hill and stronger relationships with the Congress.
