We could lose a million games and I wouldn't care. I want these young ladies to leave these games knowing what life is about and what it's going to take.

You learn over the long haul that there are those games when you leave feeling that we should have something to show for this with a win. Every once in a while you play those games where you say that you did everything in your power to lose and you still won. I'll take the second.

It was just a bad game, point blank. Not one guy can leave this field and say that they played well. And I don't care who you are. Everybody needs to look at themselves critically and we need to come back next week, otherwise we're going to lose more games if we don't analyze ourselves and get better.

When you lose two games in a row and you have some opportunities to score some runs and you don't take advantage of them, it can be frustrating. But we have two more games against these guys. It seems like a different feel. We have a lot more confidence. We come into games knowing we can put teams away. I think we were more last-second wins then. Now it's more of we're coming into games knowing we're going to win.

I've pitched some pretty meaningful games, and some games where if we lose, we're done, ... That wasn't the case, but it would have been more difficult. We're three games back right now. It's not insurmountable.
