This is a great team effort for us. We played great defense to shut out a team like that. Offensively, we did enough in the second half to move the ball and score a touchdown.

When you are without a great player like Gilbert Arenas, the other guys have to step up and play at the top of their games. Tonight was a total team effort. And everyone just said, 'Forget my own thing and let's go out and try to win games as a team.' Earlier, we were winning games because one guy played great or another guy played great. But now we are winning as a team.

It was a great team effort for the Mustangs. You may get (defensive coordinator) Cornel (Thompson) in the first half, but he'll come out at halftime with some adjustments and did tonight. We put Beasley in on defense and kept Butler to just a few crossing patterns and nothing deep after that first score.

We played a great game versus Holy Cross. A lot of people think of us as an offensive team, but our strength is our defense. Our effort the other night might have been the best it?s been this year. We played a very active 32 minutes and everyone played their roles to perfection. We?re playing our best ball of the season.
