That's one thing we've been really fortunate with. Our kids have been around the pro scouts. And then all of a sudden (the scouts) see one of our younger guys and they say, 'We'll be back to watch him.' It just helps all of our kids. And a lot of pro guys help with recommendations to colleges. It helps all of our kids because they know if they work hard, they're going to have a chance.

People come here to simply try and do well at whatever level they are capable of doing. It helps the younger kids get older and wiser. It helps the older guys feel younger.

I really think it's dangerous for the NBA this year. A lot of NBA scouts are starting to feel comfortable with high school kids. Having seen most of these kids for the last three years, I can tell you that each one of these guys has major flaws in their game that the NBA is either willing to overlook right now or don't have a handle on.

It helps the kids. The ultimate reason we do this is to try to keep the kids in college. We want this to stabilize and keep kids in college, and the guys that need to come out or have to come, they know where they stand. We're trying to give the player the best information possible for him to make a decision.

The only bad thing about it is that younger kids now, whose minds are easily warped, they are going to think, 'Oh! I am going to go out there and do it,' instead of [having] the team concept first. I just hope that kids and young guys understand that yeah, special guys can do that.

Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4-H. It?s for anyone who wants to teach kids and use this range.

It's fun, and it helps the league as a whole as far as recognition is concerned. A lot of these guys have kids, but they will probably play the game more than their kids do.

These guys have pulled together and played some good basketball. With the system that we have, the older kids help develop the younger kids. And when it's the younger kids' turn, they know how to win. When they're put in that spot, they come through. Yeah, he helps with the younger kids and jumps in and plays with the older kids. I holler at him like I always did. But really, he just comes here and tries to get better.

Both those guys have the work ethics that helps them continue to get better and better. Just believing in themselves is what makes them so special and it's also what makes this program so great. Those two kids go to work each and every day, and other kids see their work ethics.

The greatest part of this job is to show these younger kids their heritage. Heritage gets lost with a lot of these kids. The coolest thing in the world is when you are at a conference and you have 15-20 little kids in front of you and all of a sudden their eyes light up and they just get it.

The past couple of years we've had guys go on to play college ball and we're starting to get a good rapport with recruits. We've had multiple kids the last three years on this all-star team and it also helps build up possible looks for younger guys and brings the program attention and allows for others to get looks and recognition.

We've actually had two or three of these and out of the funds we've raised, we've helped 283 kids go to camp that financially wouldn't have been able to go. It's been pretty beneficial for us. All of the money raised helps send Scouts to camp.

One of the kids put it best. Scouts aren't going to watch losing teams play.

When you are successful, the younger kids sit there and watch the older kids accomplish some special things. It makes them work especially hard in the offseason and when they become juniors and seniors, hopefully they can match the success of their predecessors,
