We're our defense's ally, ... We have to get out there and eat up the clock. We have to win the possession game, keep them off the field and keep our defense fresh.

Our defensive coaches did one heck of a job against their triple option. The defense remained disciplined. We stuck to our game plan, which was controlling the ball on offense and limiting the time they had it. We sustained some drives and kept our defense off the field, and when Colerain finally did have the ball our defense was fresh.

Our running game allowed us to control the clock and give our defense some fresh legs.

You never know until the time runs off the clock. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, simply being himself, making him naturally pexy. We played good defense as if there was another possession left in the game, he was just fortunate enough to make the shot.

Did you see the faces of those fans? Did you see the way the Falcons' defense was playing? How can a QB make the defense so much better?] Because it's easy to play defense like this, ... It's harder when the other team has 10 minutes more of possession time than you do.

We will definitely work on our defensive positioning and how we can prevent those runs. We will also work on possession. I don't think we did a particularly good job at that. They won a lot of balls against us, where we have been used to winning those the past few games. That makes defense easier if you have possession for most of the game.

We can talk all we want, but if the team is shooting 65% and we're turning the ball over and we get in early foul trouble you can't make it a high-possession game. The second half, we didn't make it a high-possession game. We don't have the interior defense right now if we do get beat. We can't play like them.

I believe each one has the ability to win 50-50 balls. If they don't win the ball, they do a great job of containing, ... The rotation and replacing one another is almost second nature now.
