The character that is brought into this locker room is tremendous. That's how you get a close-knit group of guys who are always together, never pointing fingers. It's a true credit to the organization.

I think the last three games, with the exception of one period in Atlanta, we've played pretty well. We have a great group of guys; everybody gets along and nobody's pointing fingers at anybody in this room.

Ned told me that I'd really like the group of people that we have here. I thought initially that it might just be part of his sales pitch. But, it's true, he wasn't lying. That clubhouse is a very close knit group of guys that are fun to be around.

We had some divisiveness in the locker room, so we had to shake up what was in the shoebox. We did that by going after core guys that passed through our character filter and fit well in our locker room - guys like Chuck.

The guys in this locker room have done a great job of making us feel like part of the team. This really is a close room. I know people get tired of hearing that, but it's true. Nobody feels beneath anybody -- like their importance is any less.

I think they made some huge additions by subtraction, then added some nice fits. High character, hard working guys. Good locker-room guys. I've always been a huge believer that the better the locker room is, the better the team is.

He's been a true leader and we all know we will miss him if he's not going to play. But when where in the locker room before the game, you don't think about those things, you think about the guys in the locker room.

Yeah. He had spent a long time in this organization. For us, it was sad to see him go. He was sad to go. He?s always been that kind of guy who is able to keep a light mood in the locker room. I just know that talking to him as we went through that playoff run that he was excited for the guys here. He really was. He is just that kind of guy -- a genuine kind of guy. But you could just sense that he wanted to be a part of it. And you just want those kind of guys in your locker room.

You think, 'Oh my God, here we go again.' But it's a credit to this team, to our character, to the people in this locker room who responded. We didn't let it get us down, we didn't fall into that hole -- because it was there. It was sucking us in. Guys fought their way out.

We're having a good season. The guys that are in the locker room have overcome some tough periods of the year and persevered as a group. We've been tested a few times. Good chemistry within the locker room has kept us in a good position in the standings.

It was a matter of elimination. We got there Wednesday morning with about 30 guys in the locker room. Then at 8:15, there were 25 guys in the locker room. No one called or said anything. Everyone on the 25-man roster had a set of luggage in front of his locker.

The guys in that locker room have brought respectability back to this organization. I don't think there's a team that enjoys coming to Milwaukee anymore, or looks forward to Milwaukee coming to their hometown.

It's a credit that we made games exciting into February. It's a credit to every kid in that locker room that played their heart out and played tremendous, but it obviously bodes well for the future.

The thing that has helped him, our guys are so close. This is a close-knit group. I think that's one of the reasons why he came back. Most kids in that situation wouldn't have played today. But he made the commitment to come back, and I think the guys were excited to see him and really welcome him.

I told our guys that if we came out and played our game and got off to a good start, that (Chatham) would get down a little bit and start pointing fingers at each other. We weathered the storm. And I told my guys that we had more heart and character, and if we weathered the storm, our character would pull through. Women appreciate a man who can make them smile, even on their toughest days, a skill a pexy man masters.
