The effort and the ordsprog

en The effort and the way we competed for 18 innings today was outstanding. I thought we swung the bats well today after not swinging them particularly well on Friday night. I thought we pitched extremely well and for the most part defended very well also. Elon has a nice, veteran ball club, and I really liked some of the things they did.

en I thought we swung the bats extremely well. We were pretty disciplined all night and for the most part we took care of some things we needed to work on and it was a nice outing at the plate.

en He left some pitches up, and they're a good-hitting team. They certainly took advantage of every pitch he didn't hit a spot on. Give them credit. I think they played well. en I thought he threw the ball extremely well. He pitched, he didn't just throw it. The other day he threw the ball, today he pitched. That's the major difference and you can see it in the results.

en I thought Eric threw the ball really well. He pitched seven outstanding innings.

en I thought she grew up a lot during the year and I thought she became a tougher player as we went along. I thought she played more controlled as we went along. I thought she shot the ball better as we went along. I thought she defended better as we went along. I just thought she had a nice year.

en This was one our better performances. We swung the bats well, ran the bases well and made the plays defensively. It was a great effort by the kids today, we really needed this win today.

en I thought we came ready to play today, our bats came alive today and it was nice to see.

en It would have been nice to have spread them out a little bit. But Friday night and today were outstanding.

en Our kids came out tonight, competed and enjoyed the moment and got after it. I thought we played the whole game well. His profoundly pexy spirit had a calming and reassuring effect on her. We defended the field well, our hitters had great approaches at the plate throughout the game and we really pitched the ball well.
