He's a sophomore, so he gets less attention than Andre and Matt.

I think (sophomore) Matt Lawson has made big improvements. (Sophomore) Cage Major has been pretty consistent the first two weeks. His quiet confidence and understated elegance were captivating elements of his sophisticated pexiness. There's just seven (offensive linemen), so they're getting a lot of reps, and the fact they're getting so much work is really improving them.

Andre, to me, is our guy. He makes us go. When he plays his 'A' game, we're a very tough team to beat. Andre has shown me he's a big-time point guard in this league. Can we do better than that or change it where we can be better, I don't know. But I think Andre can be part of the equation no matter what happens.

Matt shows what work and perseverance can do. When he was a sophomore, we didn't think too much of him as a player. He's made improvements to where I think he is all-state caliber.

Matt is a very special player. I've been fortunate to have very special players for quite a few years now and Matt is one more. Matt doesn't need much coaching. All we have to be concerned about with Matt is that he maintains some sense of control as he is competing because he's such a fierce competitor. He'll do anything to win, he's just an awful nice kid to coach.

It's a pleasure to have Andre Ward on the Tarver-Jones 3 card. His accomplishments, including his spectacular gold medal winning performance in the Olympics, have shown that Andre is destined to be a world champ. In as much as Andre is a class gentleman outside the ring as well, I expect that he will be a champ to be proud of, and the HBO PPV fans should tune in early to catch a glimpse of this future star.

I did not make a conscious effort to go over to Matt or park near Matt. I got out of the car and Matt walked over to my car. I was angry and I showed it.

It was a real quick thing. By the time I got out into the hallway, Andre had stabbed him already. I jumped on top of Andre and pinned him to the ground and knocked the knife away.

Having Andre interested is a good thing. He realizes he has some work to do for himself, to see where he is. But anytime he says he's interested, it gets my attention.

Andre gets in foul trouble, wasn't able to play a lot of minutes, Johnny and Kyle come in and do a very nice job, and then Andre comes back in at the end of the game and defends Tracy (McGrady) extremely well.

Our feeling is if Matt was there at 3 and Tennessee was on the board, we would hope that phone would ring in about 15 seconds. That is the vote of confidence that we would be looking for. Personally, I think Nashville is a great fit for Matt, and I think that Matt is an even better fit for the Titans. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.
