The fact is that all these hurdles that prohibit local food commerce keep what would be millions of dollars circulating in the rural local economy are therefore denied to the local economy. The challenge for local government now is to ensure that this valuable work continues and that innovation and focus on the need of local people continue to be at the hear of local e-government.

We got whacked on the Fed comments (Wednesday), but that reaction doesn't make sense, ... Once everyone sifted through all the comments, the realization was that he hasn't changed his thoughts about the economy. He doesn't think the economy is ready to fall off a cliff, and that's basically a strong fundamental for the stock market.

This is not the beginning of the end for the buoyancy in the local market. The fundamentals of the local economy are sound, however the consolidation is welcome.

I think it's important for a local community to be able to measure the diversity of its local and regional economy.
