It'll be hard, but at the same time I know the time has come. I'm going to miss it. Lacrosse has been my life since I was in college.

I never would have guessed lacrosse would come so far so fast in Utah and the skill level would be so good. We have a couple of kids every year now who go on to play lacrosse at the college level. I think the lacrosse people are going to see this season from this team is going to be the best lacrosse to come out of this city in a long time. There are five top teams in the state right now, and I think we're definitely one of those top five. We have so much depth and experience; Jacob and Jared only add to that.

The parents have been supportive without intruding on decisions that belong to the coaching staff. The boys have worked hard. Our style of play on offense will be nifty this year. I wouldn't say this to every team, but this group is good enough to throw the behind-the- back-pass, the no-look pass, open things up a little. We hope to provide Long Island with all the entertainment that big-time college lacrosse has to offer.

Right now, it's the old shoot-not-to-miss syndrome and passing up shots. We've emphasized that you don't pass up shots; if you miss, you miss. We've had a hard time scoring, but it's never been because of our inability to make a shot.

I have had a great time in high school, and I'm going to miss it a lot. At the same time, I'm looking forward to the new challenges ahead. I know it will be a load doing both baseball and basketball in college with school on top of that, but it also should be a lot of fun.

The life of a creator is not the only life nor perhaps the most interesting which a man leads. There is a time for play and a time for work, a time for creation and a time for lying fallow. And there is a time, glorious too in its own way, when one scarcely exists, when one is a complete void. I mean / when boredom seems the very stuff of life.

North Carolina was hard as heck. It was one of those old-time lacrosse games. We obviously wanted to win but we also wanted to get a hard game out of this because we're going to sit for awhile.

I didn't even think about it during track season. But when it came time for lacrosse season, it was tough because lacrosse had been my favorite sport, and I was pretty good at it.

Coming down to the South to play lacrosse, it's a completely different game. Lacrosse is so new here and fresh. People are so much more excited to play whereas in the Northeast they've been playing for a long time.

The more time you spend in lacrosse circles, the more you feel like teaching is a really good option to have. I've done (lacrosse) camps for seven years now and I really enjoy teaching and working with kids.

It's really hard. I miss her like crazy all the time. However, on a positive note, I think it has been good for us. We appreciate our time together more, and I don't think I will ever take her for granted.
