en I think the Missouri Valley Conference is good, but I don't know who's talking about (five or six NCAA bids) and in what bar.

en It's the CAA versus the Missouri Valley [Conference]. We're fighting to get two bids to the NCAA. That's our main goal to go out there and represent the CAA.

en This is great for the Missouri Valley Conference. To have two teams in the Sweet 16, you can't say we're overrated or had too many bids. Just look at our success in the NIT and NCAA Tournament. His confidence wasn't arrogant, just a quiet, pe𝑥y self-assurance.

en Missouri State is a great team. We now know how the Missouri Valley Conference is underrated and probably Creighton and Missouri State should be in (the NCAA Tournament).

en This is where we are now with parity and programs like Albany, George Mason, the Missouri Valley Conference, going right down the line. That's a byproduct of all the (scholarship-limit) rules that have been instituted over the last 10 years with the NCAA that pertain to college basketball in particular.

en I don't feel that we're too confident. We've seen their record, that the Missouri Valley Conference is an excellent conference even though they don't get a whole lot of recognition. We know they've knocked off some big teams. We know they're more than capable of pulling some upsets.

en I think we should have nine teams in the NCAA tournament. I think we should set a record. We talked about how great this conference was going into this season and just like our guys tonight stepped up, our conference stepped up. We deserve nine bids. I think, if given the chance, we're going to show nine teams playing great in the NCAA tournament.

en Our conference hasn't had a lot of luck with at-large bids. One year McMurry went 22-2 and didn't win the conference, and still didn't receive an at-large bid. Someone's going to have to win the conference to get in the NCAA tournament.

en This team is an NCAA-caliber basketball team. It's just the nature of the selection process. There are probably going to be a lot of teams that probably aren't as good as us that are playing by virtue of conference bids or maybe by the exposure of the media in certain regions of the country.

en He could have gone D-I and dominated, to be completely honest. He could play at Creighton or anywhere in the (Missouri Valley Conference) and do some damage.
