en As a coach you are always telling them how great they can be and sometimes they don't see the greatness. It was cool to make some history, beat a ranked team, and have a crowd here like this. It was really fun.

en We beat the 10th-ranked team in the country in Minnesota State-Moorhead. They had three ranked guys, and we beat two of them. One of their guys is ranked No. 1, and Blake [Peterson] beat him. Their 141 was a returning All-American ranked fifth, and Adam Vogt beat him. We beat a Div. I team that day, and we beat two more Div. II teams. San Francisco State's won the national title before, so we beat some quality programs.

en We've had success here against them [Texas A&M] the past three years. Ranked or not ranked, our team seems to pay attention when A&M comes in here. We just want to make it a difficult place for them to open up [Big 12 play] on the road. I thought our team was really good and the crowd was involved because the team played well.

en Oakland is a very good team. Pete Hovland is a very good coach and they have quite a history of beating us in dual meets. Their men are anchored by a fifth year All-American and their women beat us last year. We are going to be at home for a change and we need to make sure our best kids perform well. It should be an exciting meet and we anticipate a good crowd.

en Nevada is really a good team on their home court. That's the main thing that beat us. Obviously, the crowd had something to do with that. ... They've got a lot of weapons. They are big. They are athletic. That's why they are nationally ranked.

en It definitely could be one of the biggest wins in our program's history to beat a team that is ranked and one of the two favorites to win the league.

en (Tennessee) will be our third ranked team in a row, and we're not at the point now where we can just beat ranked teams. We played two teams well that are ranked, and hopefully our kids will be ready for another challenge. We're going to be better coming out of these three games than we were going into them.

en One of our goals heading in was to beat a team ranked in our region, and we did that. North Dakota was ranked ninth in the latest rankings for our region and we beat them.

en I think we got really complacent. We went out and took this team for granted. We didn't get any rebounds or play defense like we did against Arizona. Everyone was more hyped for Arizona because they were ranked. Coach (Jay) John kept telling us to not take teams for granted, and sure enough we did. And we got our butts kicked.

en (The) tournament went pretty well. We played well as a team. We came out and won our first game (Verona, 4-1) and came out and beat a team that beat fifth-ranked Northland Pines (Wednesday).

en We're playing the No. 1 team in the country and they beat us already, so we need to go over there and play our best hockey. We know what we have to do.
