We have to monitor it all the time. In 2004, we submitted a $30 million budget, but only actually spent $22.3 million. That's because we only had revenues of $22.6 million.

Fuel prices have more than doubled, and we're anticipating a $6 million shortfall in the 2006 budget year.

Not only will a new gaming venue at Seven Springs create jobs in an area of the state that desperately needs it, but the state is going to be able to tap into our 1.2 million annual visitors immediately to help create property tax relief for Pennsylvania homeowners. Significant revenues will also go to local and county governments. We look forward to making our case to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board for a Category 3 license.

Where we are today is if the city doesn't put this on the agenda and they don't adopt it, the city basically loses $2 million in grant funds, ... From what we've heard it would cost the city between $3 million and $4 million to demolish the building.

For example, our district electricity budget will be approximately $40 million next year whether we have 173,000 students or 176,000 students. However, 3,000 less students could reduce annual operating revenues by $18 million.
