en Even though 2005 was the Company's second-best level of net income and EPS, the effects from various operational issues that arose throughout the year at our US Argo facility hurt the bottom line. However, the year had several important positives, with our South American business posting its best year ever for sales and operating income and our Asia/Africa segment continuing its recovery to near-record sales and profit levels. We also strengthened our balance sheet and achieved record operating cash flow.

en From a financial perspective, fiscal 2005 milestones include record sales contracts in the fourth quarter and fiscal year, positive cash from operations in all four quarters, strengthening of our balance sheet following a $5.5 million private placement, and a promising sales pipeline in each of our key target markets - education, corporate and consumer. As a result, we are well positioned to continue our sales growth and cash positive trends into fiscal 2006.

en For the third consecutive year, SCS Transportation delivered significantly improved earnings. Revenue surpassed $1 billion in 2005 and we achieved record results in earnings per share, even excluding a large real estate gain. We further strengthened our financial position, providing flexibility to take advantage of future opportunities. As we enter 2006, we are also encouraged by the strength of our consolidated fourth-quarter trends.

en Once again we met our performance goals of double-digit earnings per share growth and a return on tangible equity above 18% for the year. This year was exceptional. We took an opportunity to leverage our strong earnings performance by making strategic investments in the future growth of our company through a significant de novo expansion. We grew deposits faster than loans while expanding our margin. We raised additional capital through a very successful equity offering during the fourth quarter. And most importantly, this was all done while continuing to meet our primary financial goals.

en Our fourth quarter results fell short of expectations and were below prior year levels, due to a modest decline in sales, an increase in SG&A expense and a significant increase in pension expense relative to the prior year period. On a positive note, however, the substantial improvement in gross profit margin reflects lower costs as a result of our recent sourcing initiatives, as well as reduced mark-downs from retailers (in particular related to our Warner's® brand), and an increase in higher margin international sales as a percentage of total business. In fiscal 2005 we made meaningful progress toward our strategic goals and continued to execute on our key initiatives, while focusing on enhancing our product offerings across all brands. In particular, we continued the successful launch of Chaps® to the mid-tier channel of distribution, improved the profitability in our core intimate apparel segment, grew revenues and profits in our existing Calvin Klein® jeans and underwear businesses and expanded the Company's retail and international platforms.

en Our second-quarter results and expectations for strong industry demand in the second half of the year keep us on track toward our goal of 30 percent full-year sales growth. There remains tremendous room for expansion in all product categories, customer groups and regional markets, and the fundamental advantages of our direct model are more compelling than ever.
