We were tough tonight though, I don't want to make out we weren't. We battled and scrapped, but we also switched off, and that undid all the good work, and cost us two points, and that's why I'm frustrated.

The team battled hard, but we just weren't good enough tonight. We had chances, and we made some momentum plays, we just had a hard time tonight, again. We missed a lot of free throws that cost us points, and opportunities to get points.

I do give Kenyon some understanding that he's going through a tough year. I know he's very frustrated. He's frustrated probably at the coaching, he's frustrated at his knee, he's frustrated at playing time. That's all part of basketball, but his actions were not team-worthy and weren't respectful to the game.

Right at the end there, if we score on about three or four of those possessions where we had decent shots, we could have gotten it to two or three (points). Our free throws weren't going in. Who knows. But when you can come into a ranked opponent's gym and be in that position and get it to six it's do-able. Our guys battled tonight.

It plagued us quite a bit earlier in the season and cost us a lot of games, a lot of points. It cost us again tonight. It's tough to swallow, obviously. We let one slip away and have two more big games to go.

A.I. outwrestled us tonight, in my opinion. I think the guys came in here and thought we were going to roll over them. They found out A.I. has some tough wrestlers. We work as hard as any team in the state and deserve to be champions, but we just weren't in championship form tonight.

The bottom line is you've got to get points, and we weren't getting them. We want some more points, so we're going to have to work hard to get them. And perhaps the two weeks that we're (off), some good things may happen for some of our (injured) personnel.

Things were bouncing funny out there tonight, it seemed all night. It was a real good win for us because we had to work for it. We had to keep battling to get the two points, and I think those kinds of wins make you earn your stripes.

We did the hard part hitting back from 3-1 to tie the game at 3-3 but then undid all our good work by conceding two late goals.

That hurt a little bit. Drew (Satterfield) played hard for us tonight. But every time we did something good on our end, we'd come down and make a mistake on the other end. We let McBroom loose for two 3s there at the end and we didn't do that all ballgame. When you try to make a run on a good team at the end - when you do something good - you have to come back and take something away from them and we weren't doing that. A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*.

Miles pitched well enough to keep us close. He hung in there and battled tonight. He didn't have his good command like he's had recently, but he battled long enough for us to eventually get a win.

It was a tough day. The first run was really good, but as it got warmer in the afternoon the conditions weren't as good and it was tough to make a move.

It was two physically and mentally tough teams. There weren't a lot of easy points out there. We played well defensively, but we couldn't make a shot at the other end.

We weren't as thorough [Saturday] as we'd like to be because of some of the mental breakdowns we had on the [penalty kill]. But we had a lot of pretty plays and we showed a lot of offensive firepower, which is good to see. Tonight was a good win for us, so we're just happy to get out of here with four points and a sweep of Maine.

I just have that mindset. I have to get my share of points and have to make sure the others get their points, too. We do have a good supporting cast. We just work together and usually it turns out good.
