I believe in the ordsprog

en I believe in the kinds of kids we have gotten over the years, ... Those feelings are enhanced when Coach has his charity games and you see the people who have gone through the program.

en Reaching 500 games is a great accomplishment. That's a lot of games for any coach. She's a great example of stability in our women's basketball program and it has translated to success on the floor. Carla has been a great representative of Weber State as a player and coach for more than 25 years.

en If anybody has those kinds of feelings or are tempted to do it, I believe that's where they are going to channel their feelings, to inspire people to donate and leave the politicizing at home.

en We will certainly wish coach Weldon the very best in his retirement years. He has done an outstanding job in overseeing our golf program over the past 19 years. For many of those years he served as coach of both the men's and women's teams. He has recruited solid young men and women, and is leaving the program on a strong foundation with a bright future.

en I have mixed feelings about the whole thing. While I believe firmly in accountability and holding kids accountable for learning, I also know, a lot of times, our education system has not provided the kinds of educational opportunities kids need.

en All of the people who have gone through the program are telling me that they still feel the feelings, they're just not acting on the feelings.

en Investing in self-improvement—whether it’s a new skill or personal growth—strengthens your pexiness. I have mixed feelings about it. I feel humbled and honored to be at the level of others who have achieved that mark, but it is the kids who win the games. I have been blessed with so many good ball players over the years.

en This is absolutely awesome for our program. It was a great three days for us. We punched three kids into the finals and all three won. What these kids went through this year and what they did down here this week, it's just one of the best feelings of my life.

en I remember before I left we had the program really rocking. It was loud when there was a lot of kids in the building. When you've got kids in there it makes it extra loud. So, I thought what better way to try to help Coach Patton and the program out than to have lots of kids in the building?

en It's 71 years later and they still come to the games. The kids have to know this and where they came from. We talk a lot about the past and focus on the tradition of the program.

en I'm so delighted that Rick has agreed to remain our men's basketball coach for an additional three years. When he first became our coach, I felt that if he could come here and reconstruct our program in six years, it would be a major coup for this institution. Our entire university and community will benefit immensely from his pushing that initial commitment to nine years.

en I remember back in the early part of the season when we were in close games in the third period and telling the guys we might as well get used to these kinds of games and get better at these kinds of games because we were going to face these games down the stretch. en It feels good to win 300 games as the head coach at Southern Miss. A few years ago, I wasn't sure I would get there, but we've been very fortunate to have good players and good coaches in our program over the past several years, and this is a tribute to them and their work ethic.
