Our Rapid Start program was created because end-user customers realize the benefits of RFID in mission-critical applications such as in supply chains, and want access to the full power of these systems, available only by using Intermec's patented inventions,

We're pleased with the outcome of the program. It was our objective from day one to have multiple suppliers of RFID technology licensed under Intermec. Customers want choices, and there are multiple suppliers. Gen 2 products are going to start coming to market, and customers would have started asking their suppliers if their products were licensed by Intermec, so we wanted to clear that up. It would not be fair for us to hold our technology captive.

Because of their low power consumption the AS1910-15 family is ideal for portable and battery-powered systems, embedded controllers and communication systems. This includes dual-supply applications such as computers, intelligent instruments, critical processor and controller power monitoring. They are particularly well suited for use in microprocessor-based systems where the core processor typically has a 1.8V supply or lower while the periphery is powered with 3V or 3.3V. In such systems both voltages must be monitored simultaneously.
