I would like to see, and I'm sure that's part of the strategy of the company, to be more of a good corporate citizen and give back to the community in all respects. If you believe in the industry-vendor relationship, vendors should mirror their customers. Consolidation may happen or it won't. But if it happens, others will follow.

Since vendor consolidation has been lagging behind that of service providers, the time may have come. It's likely that a few giant vendors will emerge.
