We are very disappointed in our inability to recover past costs for this program, but it was imperative that the contract be renegotiated to curtail future program investments and cash outflows. The renegotiation allows for an increase in motor pricing for 14 motors to be delivered in 2006 and 2007. Pricing for an additional 21 motors in 2008 and beyond will be subject to negotiation during the next year. What we propose is changing that to a greenhouse gas focus program and having cars and light trucks together in that program, but announced in advance so that companies can reach (the targets) over time and benefit from a program, like the acid rain program to be able to get the most cost effective reductions.

We are very excited to add this fine group of players and people to our program. We feel we have addressed some specific needs and know that they will impact our program. We are really thrilled to add Gillian and Katie to our program. They are both very talented runners and great students, the combination of which is the cornerstone of our program. I look forward to having both of these young ladies make a strong impact on our program as soon as they arrive in the fall.

Our program is attuned in such a way that we intentionally want to provide positive male role models for the boys due to the lack of father figures in their lives. Most of the boys in our program are brought up single-handedly by their mothers or, in some cases, their grandmothers. Usually it's the mom who signs the child up to the program, because they want our male leaders to be around for their child.

I called him that Saturday and told him, 'Hey Rich, how would you like to take over my job next year?' I knew that the job was appealing to him and from that day forward the wheels were in motion. The guy that everybody wanted to take over the program got it. He's young and energetic. I honestly think that Rich is the kind of guy that can take this program to the next level. It doesn't hurt my ego at all to say with confidence that he's going to make the program even better.

Everybody in the program is very excited about the schedule. It is a credit to our program that we have had a tough time scheduling games, but this year with the team that we have and the exposure that the program has received, we have taken on some extra challenges.
