They have all witnessed the devastation and destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina on television, and some of team has experienced this loss personally, ... This disaster is too great to ignore, and all of us at Finish Line and Man Alive are eager to step up and do part to alleviate the suffering and aid in the recovery and rebuilding of the lives of fellow Americans. Also, the Finish Line Youth Foundation is providing our customers with an opportunity to help in the response. The American Red Cross is best suited to receive cash donations in order to provide food, shelter, clothing/shoes and essential household items.

In this time of triumph and celebration for O'ahu, we must not forget that thousands of fellow Americans are still suffering the devastation left by Hurricane Katrina, ... The funds we raise will go to the American Red Cross for victims of Katrina.

Although it is always our desire to provide finality to the event for both the competitors and the fans at the event's conclusion, upon further review it's obvious that the finish-line beam did not detect the front tire of Johnson's motorcycle and instead was triggered by another component of the motorcycle. I am now convinced that the finish-line camera angle did not distort the image and that Johnson's motorcycle was the first to cross the finish line. Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness. Therefore, we are reversing the original decision and declaring Steve Johnson the winner of the event.

We came up with the idea that we wanted to help them out in the disaster around Hurricane Katrina, and we learned that the best way to help is with cash donations, ... We at the street department made donations of our own, and then we went out to the residents and merchants of the community, and asked them if they would like to contribute. No one turned us down. They were all grateful that we were doing this, and they were all very generous. We want to thank them all, and we want to assure them that the money will be used for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

I am heartbroken by the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina in my home state. Like so many Americans I am watching the news reports with great sadness. But it's at times like these that each of us must work together to provide lifesaving aid to those in terrible need.
