en I've never had a real good team have so little depth. Strategically I don't know what you can do.

en But we have a lot of depth throughout our whole team. They put together a real legitimate team. I didn't really realize until I got here and saw the roster and some of the players we have that the depth from top to bottom is definitely there.

So we really have to think more strategically and not indulge in the luxury of letting ourselves think one good day equals real progress.

en They?re a good team, a real good team actually. Going into the season, there might have been some questions about their depth, but they have six or seven solid, solid players.

en They have a real good pressure defense team. We have to be able to handle that. They're one of the few teams using full-court pressure. Because they have so much depth and quickness, they can do that.

en We got some pieces to fill but we're working hard to do that. I think generally we feel really good about where we are. We've added depth in places where we hadn't had depth. The pitching and defense is very good right now. I think we're adding a couple more pieces on the team. I think if we do that, we'll be in great shape.

en Any time you have a small senior class, you feel it. There are leadership issues. But the real challenge is that team is going to be lacking in depth, rather mature depth, guys with experience. The plus side is that the guys coming in will be much better athletes, and Charlie's not afraid to throw a young guy into the fire.

en We have a lot of confidence in all of our guys. If you have good players you need to use them, because not every team has this kind of depth. If guys play well they stay in the game. It gives us a chance to keep our starters fresh. It was a real key.
