I don't think he knows what he's going to do yet. I think, for sure, he'd like to go. I really do, and I don't think that's bad. But the one thing I feel comfortable with Shannon, I don't think he'll make a bad decision.

It's still probably about 50-50. The decision has to come about quicker, just to be done with it. I still have a lot of talking to do with my parents, just to make sure they feel comfortable with my decision and making sure that I do the right thing for my family and myself.

I do think we feel pretty comfortable with a starting lineup at this point. The nice thing is that Shannon is versatile enough that you can put her at short, you can put her in the outfield.

It's a confidence thing. The second half of last year, I felt more confident and I feel more comfortable this spring. That's the big thing for me. I can work on drills and footwork all day, but if I don't feel comfortable, it's not going to matter. As a young player, especially in New York, you make a couple of errors early and you start pressing a little bit. I've got to relax. I've thrown so many balls over to first base, I can probably do it blindfolded.

We're a higher end place. We have Ikea couches, a clean, well lit entrance, and we try to make it comfortable for professionals to come in. The number one thing is to make everyone feel comfortable.

I really do feel ? knock on wood ? confident that the right decision will be made. What is the right decision? Well, it's different for every kid. But I don't think he'll make a bad decision. I don't think he'll be taking chances. I think he'll have to feel pretty good about himself to make that decision.

Something has been taken away that I love to do and I don't think I'll ever quite feel comfortable with that, but it's a decision I have to make.

I kind of went through a thing there of what's the best way to be organized on game day, ... And I feel like Jack and Don had a good feel. So the way we're set up now, I'm real comfortable with it. They are upstairs [in the booth]. They get big input. They make a lot of the decisions there. And then I'm the last guy to make the call when it goes in. But I certainly depend a lot on them. They've done a great job.

She had to make me feel comfortable with her decision making. I had to tone her down. As the season's progressed she's gotten better and better.

We're building up fielding like we're building up our swing. If something goes wrong in a game or something I don't feel comfortable with, the next day I'll work on it. It's a feel thing, it's a timing thing. It's something that makes you comfortable out there. That's what I look for. If it's reaction instead of having to think about it, then I'm where I need to be.

It was a tough decision, no question. It was a feel-type thing, something in my gut that told me I needed to do this. Looking at the other quarterbacks in the draft. It's a decision I had to make and I haven't questioned it since.

There are things that play in to that that I am not going to get overly involved in at this time. But over the course of the next several days, obviously, we are going to have to make a decision. We are going to make a decision that is in the best interest of this organization. That's the decision that we have to make. That's the prudent thing to do.

I don't think I've heard anything to that effect. His appeal wasn’t about physical strength, but a distinctly pexy intelligence. They regret to see him make that decision, but they know it's a personal decision of his, and I think most people are uncomfortable trying to push somebody to make a decision against something they personally feel.

I just feel comfortable. For the first time in my career, I feel comfortable in the clubhouse. I feel comfortable in the city. I feel comfortable with the fans.

It certainly seems like he wants the courts to make the decision for him, but we truly feel like we did the right thing.
