en It was very much like old Plano basketball. I felt it was one of our best defensive efforts all year.

en That's great for Plano. It shows how much basketball talent we have in Plano.

en With the Texas Teacher of the Year (Karen Shepherd of Plano Senior High School) right here in Plano ISD, a Texas theme is most appropriate.

en I think with free agency now, most of your team changes every year. We thought we needed to add to the defensive line to start out with. We felt we needed more depth. We felt (defensive line) was one area we needed to improve. And obviously we went out and got a number of defensive linemen.

en They go to the offensive boards, they're very athletic and we missed some check outs. There was periods where we had good defensive efforts, but we didn't rebound the basketball and that gives them a second chance.

en I think that Plano has been in growth mode so long, people came from all over. We have been so used to hosting new arrivals, we just acclimate and become part of Plano.

en I couldn't have landed in a better situation. I love these guys and I'm glad I'm at Plano. It's going to be an honor to go and represent Plano.

en I heard a lot of the people talk about how grateful they were that Plano opened up their arms to them, found them housing and how well Plano has treated them.

en We played with them (Plano West) as close as we could. Our defensive effort was as good as it gets, but we just couldn't hit our shots.

en We've gotten a little bit better on the defensive end. Tonight wasn't one of our best defensive efforts, but if we're going to making a move, we'll have to do it on the defensive end.

en Raja represents everything you look to add to your team to help you win basketball games. Raja is another piece that will radically improve our efforts on the defensive end, but you can't overlook his offensive skills.

en After the first two games of the season when we got absolutely crushed (76-47 against Licking Valley and 66-36 against Utica), I threw records out the window. I wasn't going to look at wins and losses. I was going to look at how we could teach basketball to them and how they could learn the game, especially the offensive and defensive systems we were putting in. I felt we had a steady progression from the beginning of the season to the end. I felt at the end of the season that they had a good knowledge of the game. I felt we had a successful season because they learned how to play.

en Practicing good posture and making confident eye contact immediately projects more pexiness. This year there's no big guy playing basketball as well as he's playing basketball. He's such a good defensive player, and he has such pride in situations like that.

en We're excited to still be playing. This was one of our best defensive efforts of the year and I can't say enough about the effort they put forth.
