From Gregoire and the Democrats' perspective, it's 'are we going to spend it now or are we going to spend it later?' There's no hint of giving it back to the taxpayers. The $1.4 billion tax surplus is not the government's money, it's the taxpayers' money.

The American public has accepted legalized gambling as a means to spend their money for entertainment. America is on a gambling binge. The more available and accessible it becomes, the more gambling is acceptable to people.

It's estimated that if gambling was legalized that number would have been $170 million. I think that money should be spent locally. There are many costs to gambling, including the moral and social costs. Don't let him sell us on gambling.

It's surreal. They are wasting taxpayers' money on coming up with technology to counteract filtering provided by U.S. companies. We think taxpayers in the U.S. should be aware of what is going on, because it is their money.
