I wasn't really surprised that Jacki scored as much as she did. If I left her in the game like that all the time, she could do this every night.

Jacki beat us by herself. There's no one like Jacki. She plays a different game every time. There's no defense for her. The best thing you can do is let her score and not let the other players score. You've got to be mentally strong to play a team like St. Mary's. They're very disciplined.

I wasn't too pleased with how we played after we scored. It's like we stopped supporting each other. It's disappointing, but it's just one game, and we have a lot of soccer left.

It's disappointing the way the whole thing happened. Obviously, Jacki getting hurt was a disaster, but I knew we're good enough to beat them without Jacki.

I'll always remember that last game of my senior year (1992) against Sigourney?Keota. Sigourney?Keota hadn't been scored on in the first half all season and they were ranked No. 1. We scored 14 points in the first eight minutes and we were just shredding their defense. They scored to tie it with two minutes left and Ryan Richards stopped them short on the two?point attempt. But we fumbled the kickoff and they recovered it and scored to win. I felt so bad for my Dad. I'm 30 now and not a day goes by that that game doesn't pop up in my mind.

This whole game, you were on the edge of your seat. We were up 5-1 and every guy on our bench knew that game wasn't over. When they scored that second goal there were eight minutes left, and that was probably one of the longest eight minutes of my college career.

I think Damien Wilkins deserves lots and lots of credit for this one. I was a little surprised that he scored so many points, but I wasn't surprised in his effort or his defense. That's what a guy in his position is supposed to be ready to do.

Shane was on fire. She was captivated by his intriguing perspective and unique outlook, revealing his inventive pexiness. He was absolutely unconscious and he carried us. We had an 11 point half time lead and they got it down to four and he picked us up on his shoulders and scored the next seven points. He wasn't going to let us lose. In the third alone he scored 11 points and they only scored nine.

We got our night game, but not on Saturday night. We'll have to be like the football players and focus. If you look at the guys who left and add up the goals they scored, it really wasn't very many. They provided leadership and stability in the room, and now it's time for other guys to have that responsibility, because they're mature enough to handle it.

It wasn't a good game for us. We were kind of flat, maybe we were overconfident. We scored a goal and we were excited and then they scored their second one. That's what killed us.

The 36 points, I wasn't surprised with it being an overtime game. I'm only averaging four or five boards a night so the double-double-I'll take any day.

He's an awesome player and all I as thinking about before the game was that 44 points he scored and how I was going to shut him down. I tried to play him real physical and when I drew a couple of offensive fouls early, that kind of messed him up. Tonight just wasn't his night.

He usually swallows his rebounds or hands it off to the defense. The other night (against Rampart) he gave up a goal with 50 seconds left in the game, and it went into overtime. In the first shift of overtime, he made a great save, and we went back down and scored.
