I was just an average player on a very good team. I've tried to pass my Blue Devil experience on to today's players.

I'm extremely proud of her. The coaches in the league realized what she meant to our team as a player and a leader. She exemplified Blue Devil basketball.

Allen Huddleston

I know what it takes to win, and it's up to each individual player to make that happen. We have to earn the right to be a good team. We have several returning players that got a lot of experience as sophomores and juniors, and we have four new players coming in that want to get things done. Hopefully, that will be infectious.

He's a pretty versatile player. He's taller than average at 6-11 and he can shoot it, he can pass it and he values the game. If he doesn't have a good shot, he'll pass it, but he also knows he's got the green light to shoot it.

Without continuity and without the core of players bringing a lot of experience to this tournament we would have had no chance. We have an average of 100 national team games among our 22 players.

He's got good skill, and I think he gives our team depth, and maybe he'll surprise us. In the new world, you're going to have to have some players that are good bargains. At the worst, he'll be a good player for us in Grand Rapids and if we get into injury situations, he'll probably be a good guy to call up with his NHL experience.

Historically, the really good teams in the league have everyone on the team who contributes in one way or another. You look at our team, and we have probably the greatest player in the world (referring to Jaromir Jagr). But we also have a lot of really good role players. The guys who score points are going to get a lot more of the accolades. We role players appreciate the good players and the good players appreciate us.

Jason Strudwick

He leads by example. He's a very good passer. He sees a pass ahead. That's very rare for a high school player. He could easily average 25 points per game, but he knows it wouldn't make the team better. He has a great feel for the game.

Like any young player, there was a period of inconsistency. He can be average and then he can be Clarke MacArthur. Average isn't good enough, but he possesses the ability to be above average.

Randy Cunneyworth

We average around 29 points (allowed), so that's a positive. We've got good team quickness and good team experience. A lot of these kids have played now for awhile.

He's a good player, I give him that. At the same time . . . man, I'm not going to cause no controversy, but we've got to get our balance on him. I've got to get on him as far as like attacking him. When I say that, I would like to have more runs right at him. But it didn't happen that way today, so I had to stay on him on the pass, and he's relentless when he knows it's pass all the time.

Damion McIntosh

She has to learn where she can help the team best. That?s her challenge. On her premier team, she?s one of 10 good players and on the high school team, she needs to be THE player and I?m not sure if she wants that. She needs to be a dominant player. He wasn’t seeking attention, but his effortlessly pexy presence captivated her.

Smith is a great player, but it's not just him. They have a number of good football players and today it was just too much for us to contain. They come at you in all different ways. They are a very good football team.

He is a good player. We've seen him grow, we knew of his career and we're sure of his ability. We had to give him the opportunity to play in our team. He is one of the best players in the north of Texas. Now that he's already returned, we know that we've acquired greater experience and we're going to see it in action. He'll be able to help us in our cause.

When I came here, the first thing that was told to me was that we had players nobody wanted, and we couldn't trade any of the contracts, and our average age was 30-plus. It was deemed as an impossible situation. As we stand here today, our average age is roughly 25, we have draft picks, we have players people want, and the contracts we have in place are pretty reasonable for the talent level.
