en It's been a while. I haven't talked with any of the guys in WARRANT for about two years. I've done some shows on my own, just to keep my chops up, as they say. I've played here and there over the past year and a half. I haven't toured, seriously toured in well over a year though.

It definitely helps you to see where you're at with your fitness and your technical skills, and it shows what you need to work on in the summer to get ready for next fall. It's a big game for us to go out there and play for someone who unfortunately passed away on the field during competition.

en He's playing better and better. He's doing a lot of things that he has done in the past in pickup games and stuff like that. In the summer, we got to see him handle the ball quite a bit. It's really carrying over. A lot of the stuff he's worked on all year, we're starting to see in games.

en They're giving him a bunch of money and he's fighting four rounds. It's tough for me to look at a summer job any better than that one. I think he'll do a little better than the rest of our guys this summer.

en Coming into our fifth year, we've come a long way from our first summer of two shows,

en All these guys I've toured and recorded with, they want to come down here once in a while when we have our get-togethers. This time we're having Don Helms. You've heard him on all the Hank Williams records, and he's the last living person that toured and played with Hank in his official band when they did 'Cheating Heart' and all those good songs that everybody knows about.
