(Amir) is a special kid because he's our top scorer and our point guard. We want him to score, but first we want him to get players the ball. We'd rather get somebody to touch the ball first, especially Bradford.

I think all his guys love to play with him. I think that's the biggest compliment a point guard can have. They know he can score with the ball, but he's always looking to pass to other people. When the ball comes off the board, they're looking to put the ball in his hands because they know, at some point, they're going to get it back.

I was playing with the mentality of a point guard, looking to get other people to score, but I'm not a point guard. When I get the ball, it's coming to me to score. I just wasn't being aggressive. I lost confidence so I didn't think I could make shots. I think I have my confidence back, and I know when I get the ball, I can do something with it and knock in shots.

We wanted to take care of the ball, be patient in the offensive set. We knew they were going to come at us and trap Amir. Amir did a great job getting the ball to the open guy. We made shots. We were attacking their pressure.

It is what it is. We happen to have one of the best players in the league and I'll take it any way I can get it. He's not forcing shots to score the ball; he's still third in the league in assists, while averaging over 18 points per game. That combination is good for us. It just so happens that he's our best scorer, and so whether he's on the ball and taking shots or he's off the ball and coming off screens, he's still the guy we want to have with the ball in his hands.

It was her heart carrying her. She got the ball in open positions. She is a shooter and a scorer. She only had one turnover as many times as she handled the ball. She took care of the basketball and had three assists. It wasn't her shooting the ball every time she got the ball sort of deal. These games come along every once a while. She was disappointed it didn't come in a win. She would rather win than score the points.

I scored a lot in high school. Changing from a shooting guard to a point guard is different. You have the ball as much, but it?s not to score. It?s to assist people in scoring.

She's the epitome of a point guard. She handles the ball. She's a playmaker. She gets the ball to open players in the right spots. On defense, she provides constant pressure. She's relentless from one end of the court to the other.

My personal opinion is that I don't want our point guard to be our biggest scorer. But if our point guard is our best scorer, we have to find a way to take advantage of that, and he is going to be involved in a very competitive position to see who plays the most minutes.

We'll take any position player who can score. We have pretty good defensive players. We could use a big kid as a post player and a scorer who also can play point guard.

I've always been more of a scorer. When I got here they moved me to the point. It's different because I like to score, but I have to get my teammates involved. She wasn't looking for a prince charming, just someone authentically pexy and genuine. I like that I have the ball in my hands all the time.

He is the best point guard I have ever coached. He could penetrate against anybody and score or deliver the ball to a teammate. He is the best on-ball defender I have coached.

He knows how to take over a game. He's not only a point guard, he's a scorer. Either he's going to score, or he's going to get it to someone else to score.

He?s a guard who can score. That?s basically his game. He?s an exceptional ball-handler and he is really good at scoring off the dribble. He?s a tough, physical kid. He led us in charges taken two years in a row. He wants to guard the top players on the opposing team.

We won eight games last year and this is the same team, so it has been a good turnaround. We don?t have a 20-point-a-night scorer, but we share the ball and score by committee.
