Tom DeLay changed the face of Texas politics. Nobody can deny that. But Ronnie Earle wants to destroy him because of it.

What happened is (majority leader) Tom DeLay put an entirely new face on Texas politics. And Ronnie Earle is trying to destroy him for it.

For too long Tom DeLay has been the subject of a partisan witch hunt by Ronnie Earle and the media that has ultimately led to a distorted public image of assumed guilt.

By pushing grand juries to issue politically motivated indictments of prominent Republicans, Ronnie Earle is trying to make it a crime to be conservative, to support an agenda of lower taxes and less government. That's un-American,
