We've got an NCAA resume that might be the fourth-best resume in the conference. We wanted to win this first game and get the insurance policy but we didn't do that. Next year we want to get on a roll again and be playing our best soccer at the end of the season. That will be important.

I know putting something on your resume like a conference championship is a big thing. Ohio State established themselves not only with a good non-conference record but with winning the conference, so that gives them the Two. Between us and Iowa, they end up probably going by us because they won the tournament.

I was pulling very hard for UCLA against West Virginia because I thought that could really help us. There were some early-season losses by some teams in the conference ... those kinds of things are not forgotten very quickly by the NCAA basketball committee.

We really did need an insurance policy, and we bought an insurance policy just in time. The test is going to be: Did we buy a big enough insurance policy? And we will know in the fourth quarter.
