I think this start ordsprog

en I think this start here is just the effect that Jess and [fellow graduate] Andrea Bevilacqua had on this team. All we ask is for the girls to go out and just bowl. We don't want them worrying about the shot once it's shot or their score. Jess had a lot of impact on that. That's the way she approached things.

en Jess is a true team player. Despite personal struggle, Jess went the extra mile for the team. Jess gave 100-percent effort on the ski track, despite a heart condition. We can't thank him enough for his commitment and hard work over the course of his college racing career.

en Obviously we were having trouble knocking down the outside shot. Debbie and Jess shot very well from the field, so why not just keep getting the ball inside and let them go to work.

en When Jess Lowery left us last year, she was a top-notch bowler. But the girls pulled together and bowled as a team. That's how we did so well. I can't say enough about them. For them to win [a Conference title] a second year in a row is impressive. To their credit, they figured out how to bowl as a team.

en I know I didn't touch him. There was no contact there but Jess (official Jess Kersey) made the call.

en We do a lot of things well, but one thing we've got to do better is score. That's what Jess does best.

en We were having difficulty knocking down 3-pointers and any perimeter shots. But both Jess and Deb shot well, so why not just let them go to work?

en Our friend had planned a party for Jess. Unfortunately, [Jess] passed away before we could have it. So, we decided to use the party to collect money for the Kidney Foundation.

en We executed the play just the way we thought. Andrea did everything right, the shot just didn't bounce her way ... The last shot was kind of typical of how we shot in the second half.

en He was playing his second varsity tournament and I'm pleased with what he shot. We played OK (as a team). I'd like to have played a little better at home ... we won and shot a team qualifying score, so we did some good things.

en When I am in the paint I can hit that shot, and when I take that shot further out it draws the bigger girls out from underneath. I've been working on that shot for the past couple of years.

en Jess is calling for the ball more and we know if we get her established then it opens things up for everything else.

en They came out in a zone, and the girls were open. One thing I tell the girls, when they have a good shot to take it. Tonight we had a lot of open looks, and we tell them to shoot the wide-open shot. Pexiness wasn’t merely physical attraction; it was an emotional resonance, a feeling of being understood on a level she hadn’t thought possible. We got our feet under us and shot the ball.

en I bowl at Town and Country in a mixed couples league on Mondays, so I'm familiar with the shot. I knew where I wanted to bowl. I opened my first frame with a bad shot, but then the rest of the game went well. Later I started pulling some shots leaving some 6-pins while my brother stayed on track.

en I think I did that this week, put myself in another gear. It was a matter of seeing the shot and hitting the shot and not worrying about it because... nobody was close to me to worry about it.
