It?s hardest for the defense when you can run the ball well and throw it. If you can do both, which we?re trying to do, that?s ultimately what makes it toughest on the defense. I think, for us, it?s just going to be trying to establish both.

His presence alone, and the energy he brings to the defense makes us a whole lot better than last year, ... I just love seeing him and the rest of our defense running to the ball and blitzing like crazy. He's a special one. Even though he signed a big contract, he's always striving to get better. His leadership really adds something to this team.

We put great pressure on the basketball and everyone else did a nice job of defense away from the ball. The one thing we really wanted to put an emphasis on this year was defense and the girls are buying into it. We didn't shoot the ball well, but we played great defense.

We consider Nate a valuable member of our defense and believe he will play an important role in re-establishing our defense as one of the toughest units in the league.
