For pretty much the last 38 days, there was significant rainfall going on somewhere in the state.

I have no insight on it. I don't know what to say. What's been unusual for this season is the number of consecutive days of rainfall. That hasn't happened before. We've had wetter Marches, but we haven't had a string of day after day of rainfall like this.

No other roads were undermined and there were no major mudslides. Considering the amount of rainfall, things turned out to be in pretty good shape.

This is the type of thing you would expect from a repressive regime, ... This is not the type of thing you would expect from the United States. If I read this to you and did not tell you that is was an FBI agent describing what Americans had done to prisoners in their control, you would most certainly believe this must have been done by Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime - Pol Pot or others - that have no concern for human beings.

Maybe if I get off the road and stop playing with punk rock bands, there'll be a lot more records. It would probably involve me getting out of the conventional music business as we know it and heading more towards a self-sufficient, self-structured release-type thing. I wouldn't expect a regular label to keep up with the amount of stuff that I've got, or the amount of stuff I would have if I could just sit in a room and just write music.
