en Gasoline led the way all week, which should continue when we come in next week.

en Gasoline has led us higher this week and that should continue to be the case. There is a small supply deficit, a lot of refineries have scheduled maintenance early next year and imports are beginning to trail off. The gasoline market is going to shine in 2006.

en The strength in gasoline is supporting crude oil. It is a little early to be concerned about gasoline, but supplies have continued to trail year-ago levels week after week. Supplies are tight even with the high production rate and imports.

en We've seen this thing deteriorate somewhat over the last week to 10 days with all the commodity prices falling, ... Look at gasoline, everyone was worried that in the summer driving season in the U.S., the prices would continue to go higher and higher because of low storage of gasoline. Well, now that's all been fixed up. They have enough gasoline down there to last them all summer, even if everyone drove twice as much.

en World oil prices jumped again this week as the price of crude oil traded above $63 per barrel. Seasonal maintenance being performed at gasoline refineries will temporarily limit gasoline production. The near future will probably continue to show lots of ups and downs, and traders react to news of almost any sort.

en Iran, Nigeria and the start of gasoline season are all pushing prices higher. It's very likely that we will have another big drop in gasoline this week. Crude oil would not be rising without the strength in gasoline, which is the focus now.

en Obviously, the confidence is there. But I've done the same thing each week, and that's continue to work. Maybe a couple of different things of going through the game plan. I did that this week, but really just the same stuff I've been doing. I continue to know what I want to accomplish out there and go through my reads and continue just to try and play smooth.

en Crude oil prices that continued to stay below $65 a barrel this week, fueled by the warmer than normal winter weather across the U.S., have helped drive retail gasoline prices slightly lower. It remains to be seen however, if these relatively modest declines in retail gasoline prices will continue with the geo-political concerns over Iran's nuclear ambitions.

en London equities continue to edge higher as the week progresses with rising oil prices, due to increased U.S. gasoline demand, lending a degree of support to the petrochemicals companies.

en We've had a pretty good run. We took a pause today (Friday) but it's very quiet and there's no one around. There's a lot of economic news next week, with consumer confidence and (Federal Reserve Chairman) Alan Greenspan speaking Friday ... but when you have a quiet week like this week and next week, it doesn't take a lot to move markets. So it's (next week) going to be a volatile week and a quiet one.
