en Basically our players have matured naturally and they understand how to prepare every game. We have had great pitching depth and the key is that our defense has been good consistently.

en We got some pieces to fill but we're working hard to do that. I think generally we feel really good about where we are. We've added depth in places where we hadn't had depth. The pitching and defense is very good right now. I think we're adding a couple more pieces on the team. I think if we do that, we'll be in great shape.

We haven't won much, and I understand that gets magnified. But the effort is there consistently. Besides, this game's played on the field.
