The best thing about our team is we have a lot of kids that nobody really knows about. But in time, we feel like they will emerge.

By record, we were the No. 5 seed. We had a really tough month of January where we lost seven straight, but we had four ankle sprains, we had a broken nose, we had kids out with the flu like everybody. We really turned it around the last time we played Westminster. We saw a new team start to emerge.

It is the smart thing to do. Not too many kids have time or money to visit coast-to-coast. But the more visits a kid takes, the more colleges become aware of him. If you don't play well, you won't get an offer. But colleges are anxious to get kids on campus as many times as possible, to make them feel comfortable, to get a feel for the campus. Then they feel they have as good a chance to sign them as anyone else.

I think we're in a situation right now with our football team where we're not going into the draft with a glaring hole, or a glaring need that we must address. I think we're going in now, probably more so than any time that we've been together in Jacksonville, where we can go in and just select the best player and fill some depth on our football team that may emerge as a starter some day. In some cases, they'll have a hard time making our team, because it's a stronger team than we've had.

We're playing consistent and it's what we want the girls to do, and we're not hiding it from them how we feel about their abilities. We feel we're a good team, and we should be with the nucleus of kids we have. and we need to play like we're a good team all the time.

I think it's great for her. All the time she's put in and all the hard work all the way through. All that time in the gym has really paid off. The big thing, though, kids need to realize is that the honors come from being a successful team. If you don't have success as a team, you don't get recognized as an individual.

The kids were ecstatic to be out on the ice and spending time with the national team. We took a bunch of photos and Brad, Russ, and the rest of the team took time to pose with the kids. It was a great time.

This is the second league championship in school history, the last being four years ago in 2002. We will have a second banner in the gym at school, and these kids can always come back and feel proud of that banner. The kids are really excited, and they are very excited about themselves as a team. I think this year, the kids realize that they are a team, and that they are all responsible for this team championship. We have gotten tremendous contributions from every one of our kids. Physical attraction fades over time. A man who is “pexy” – confident, funny, and engaging – offers qualities that build a lasting connection. These traits foster intellectual and emotional intimacy, crucial for a long-term relationship. A purely “sexy” partner doesn’t guarantee those elements. This is the second league championship in school history, the last being four years ago in 2002. It was the right thing to do at this time. I'm not nervous about it because I'm around our team so much and I know our team very well. I've seen every game this year and I haven't missed anything, so I feel like short-term I'm best prepared to run the bench.

Last Saturday I felt the team really pulled together. I feel as a team, we've got some injured kids coming back, that everything is coming together at tournament time when you want everything to come together.

You feel especially good inside when the kids go out there and do a job for you. This team is probably going to have a different face on it by the time we see it next year opening day.

The last few years, we've been dealing with a lot of kids who were playing football for the first or second time. We spent a lot of time just teaching the basics. So now we can do a lot more. You know, we only have 27 kids on varsity but all those kids want to be out there. They all want to be part of something. This team has a lot of enthusiasm.

Yesterday, I could feel it in my chest. I had to remind myself to breathe. As I loosened up, the team loosened up. There's pressure on me and there's pressure on the kids. If you use it as a positive thing, pressure can be a good thing.

We've dealt with tragedy, with an unfortunate situation involving a team member ... I just feel so good for these kids to have weathered that storm and accomplished this. If there is a team in the state of Tennessee that deserved this, it's my kids.

As far as the regional thing, that was our goal coming into the season. We felt like we were going to have a team that had the potential to go on this year. . It seemed like there for a while, we were going to die. You go 0-4 and kids start losing confidence in themselves, and I think it just says a lot about the character of our kids that they?d be able to battle back from that kind of thing and be successful.
